In the children’s and youth library you will find novels, non-fiction and picture books in over 30 languages, comics and over 200 manga series, as well as Tonies, films and audio books, board and console games, magazines and experimental and construction kits.

In order to reflect the linguistic diversity in Karlsruhe, we also offer media for reading aloud and reading for yourself in the following languages:

Albanian, Amhar, Arabic, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chinese, English, French, Georgian, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Croatian, Kurdish, Dutch, Pashto, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Tigrin, Czech, Turkish, Ukrainian, Hungarian and Urdu.

💡A library card is free of charge for children and young people up to their 18th birthday.
