Integration Committee of the City of Karlsruhe
For karlsruhe as a modern and cosmopolitan city, immigration has played an important role since the city was founded.
People with diverse (migration) experiences and influences from cultural, religious and other social backgrounds call Karlsruhe their home and enrich the city’s society on a daily basis.
The Karlsruhe Integration Committee exists to ensure equal opportunities for all Karlsruhe residents and to advocate for the interests of immigrants.
The task of the Integration Committee is to advise the municipal council on integration policy issues and, as a representative body, to promote the equal social, political, cultural and economic participation of Karlsruhe’s citizens with and without a migration background.
