The film project “WOANDERS ÜBERALL” adapts the play of the same name and focus­es on domes­tic vio­lence, gen­der-spe­cif­ic deval­u­a­tion, sex­ism and misog­y­nis­tic atti­tudes in soci­ety. The play was devel­oped in 2022/23 by the actress­es Ley­la Baran, Han­nah Dit­trich, Alic­ja Here­da and Anette Meier them­selves and pre­miered in Karl­sruhe. Fol­low­ing the pre­miere, the film will be donat­ed to the Vere­in zum Schutz mis­shan­del­ter Frauen und deren Kinder e.V. for their pre­ven­tion work.

About the content:
Vio­lence against women is unfor­tu­nate­ly still wide­spread and has many faces. “Woanders.Überall” wants to show this, but above all to encour­age and call for solidarity.
The spe­cial thing about this film project is that the women who devel­oped and per­formed the play are also the pro­tag­o­nists of the film. Many oth­er women from Karl­sruhe were also involved.
