Five coun­tries, two con­ti­nents, one band. El Flecha Negra fill the room with bound­less ener­gy and intox­i­cat­ing mag­ic. Once the Chicos from Chile, Peru, Spain, Argenti­na and Ger­many are on stage there is no stop­ping them. The “Black Arrow” (Flecha Negra) forms a riv­er from many sources: The musi­cians com­bine tra­di­tion­al cumbia and reg­gae with mod­ern mes­ti­zo and Peru­vian chicha sounds — wild, exu­ber­ant and dance­able. Start­ed as a street band in the sum­mer of 2014, El Flecha Negra soon devel­oped into a sought-after live band with con­certs through­out Ger­many and tours to Latin Amer­i­ca, among oth­er places. On their new album “Renac­er” El Flecha Negra cel­e­brate love, life and music. South Amer­i­can roots meet Caribbean light­ness with the mul­ti­cul­tur­al band, rock­ing gui­tars meet boom­ing trum­pets, Span­ish voic­es meet fiery statements.
