Con­fer­ence on Labor Mar­ket Inte­gra­tion 2023 — Forum for busi­ness, sci­ence and politics

Ger­many needs a work­force! Immi­gra­tion is an oppor­tu­ni­ty, but also a chal­lenge. The con­fer­ence on labor mar­ket inte­gra­tion address­es the chal­lenges asso­ci­at­ed with labor mar­ket inte­gra­tion and shows new ways forward.

All com­pa­nies in the Karl­sruhe dis­trict can par­tic­i­pate. Par­tic­i­pa­tion is free of charge.

Ques­tions such as “Where do I find new immi­grant employ­ees?” “What can I do to keep immi­grants in the com­pa­ny?” “What do I need to con­sid­er when hir­ing immi­grants?” “What can I do to have the immi­grants’ pro­fes­sion­al skills rec­og­nized?” “What lan­guage sup­port pro­gram or pro­grams are avail­able from the Employ­ment Agency?” will be answered at the spe­cial­ist conference.

Experts from busi­ness, sci­ence and pol­i­tics offer their exper­tise through keynote speech­es and address ques­tions in a pan­el dis­cus­sion. Com­pa­nies will present prac­ti­cal exam­ples and immi­grants will report on their expe­ri­ences in the companies.

In the after­noon, 5 par­al­lel work­shops will be held, led by experts. In the work­shops, entre­pre­neurs will have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to exchange ideas and devel­op joint solu­tions for the labor mar­ket inte­gra­tion of new­ly arrived immigrants.

In addi­tion to the pro­fes­sion­al impuls­es, there will be enough space to make con­tacts and to net­work. The “Mar­ket­place of Work” with numer­ous booths of region­al play­ers in labor mar­ket inte­gra­tion will also serve this purpose.
