AWO Migra­tion counseling

Since the begin­ning of 2005, the AWO Karl­sruhe has been offer­ing immi­grants and their fam­i­lies advice and sup­port to pro­mote integration.

Tar­get group

  • Late repa­tri­ates, EU cit­i­zens, skilled work­ers and work­ers, fam­i­ly mem­bers (for fam­i­ly reuni­fi­ca­tion), rec­og­nized refugees, per­sons oblig­ed or enti­tled to attend an inte­gra­tion course.
  • from the age of 28 and their chil­dren up to the age of 12.
  • with res­i­dence in the city of Karlsruhe.

Advice is pro­vid­ed in the first three years after the first res­i­dence per­mit is issued. For migrants who do not require a res­i­dence per­mit, the 3‑year peri­od begins from the date of entry.
