Span­ish Asso­ci­a­tion of Karlsruhe

The Span­ish Par­ents’ Asso­ci­a­tion of Karl­sruhe, reg­is­tered in 1974, has its head­quar­ters in the ibz build­ing (Inter­na­tion­al Meet­ing Cen­ter) in Karl­sruhe for the last 20 years. The Asso­ci­a­tion is part of the Con­fed­er­a­tion of Span­ish Par­ents’ Asso­ci­a­tions, which is orga­nized at the fed­er­al and Euro­pean lev­el and cur­rent­ly has 188 con­tribut­ing members.

Our objec­tives are:

• To make Span­ish or Span­ish-speak­ing par­ents aware of their respon­si­bil­i­ty in the edu­ca­tion of their chil­dren (school — train­ing), to sup­port them in the task and to offer them for this pur­pose an orga­ni­za­tion­al platform.
• The dis­sem­i­na­tion and pro­mo­tion of the Span­ish lan­guage and culture.
• To encour­age the inte­gra­tion of the Span­ish lan­guage in for­mal edu­ca­tion and to com­mit our­selves to its teaching.
• To become, in addi­tion, a place of wel­come, com­mu­ni­ca­tion, exchange and leisure.

Asso­ci­a­tion’s bar

Open to the gen­er­al pub­lic. In addi­tion, any mem­ber who wish­es may reserve space to cel­e­brate a par­ty, birth­day or any oth­er type of event, by con­tact­ing the Board of Direc­tors directly.

Mul­ti-pur­pose room

The mul­ti-pur­pose room can be used for pri­vate cel­e­bra­tions (birth­days, anniver­saries, etc.), Ger­man lan­guage sup­port cours­es, com­put­er cours­es, exhi­bi­tions, etc.
