Future topics are women’s topics

Women in the German-Latin American Economy

Topics relevant to the future such as digitization, artificial intelligence, sustainable and environmentally friendly energy generation and fuels, and electromobility are currently occupying business, politics and society as a whole. Private-sector female actors are indispensable partners for the successful implementation of these topics and for shaping a gender-responsive socio-ecological economic transformation. A look at the figures clearly shows that diversity and equal opportunities are not only possible, but also point the way to success. Active and equal participation in the economy promotes a broader perspective on future issues, which enables valuable and innovative approaches to solutions.

What approaches to solving future-relevant issues have women entrepreneurs in Latin America and Germany already developed? The Agency for Economic Affairs and Development (AWE), the Latin America Association (LAV) and the Karlsruhe Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Welcome Center of the Karlsruhe Technology Region invite to a joint discussion with business representatives from Latin America and Germany.
